About Harvest Wine Market

Harvest Wine Market was established in 2013 in Nashville’s Belle Meade neighborhood. In October 2023, Seema Prasad and Brian Hadfield purchased Harvest from its founders with the vision of making it Nashville’s premier wine and spirits shopping experience while still maintaining its friendly neighborhood feel.

After lots of hard work, planning, some remodeling, and building a select team with Seema’s and Brian’s shared vision, Harvest has grown. Known for its focus on excellent customer service, education and creating unique tasting experiences, Harvest hopes to take you on an adventure in the world of fine beverages.

Our wines are meticulously selected by Seema and the Harvest team to represent the best producers around the world from both renowned and emerging producers.  We aim for each bottle to reveal distinctiveness and a remarkable value. Our goal is to introduce our neighbors to new wines, curate their favorites, and help them expand their knowledge.

  • Seema Prasad

    CO-OWNER

Seema lives life through her palate. A seasoned restauranteur, Seema spent the last three decades curating the wine & cocktail lists for her restaurants and others starting in Seattle and now in Nashville at her current restaurant, Miel.

She has cultivated valuable relationships over this time in the industry with importers and winemakers that bring a depth of understanding and influence to the curation of the collection at Harvest.

  • Brian Hadfield

    CO-OWNER

A Nashville native, Brian considers himself a (very) enthusiastic wine hobbyist. Through extensive travel, he’s had the opportunity to try wines all over the world. Over time, he’s developed an appreciation and respect for all of the unique characteristics wines can offer. With an MBA and a background in logistics, he sees Harvest Wine Market as a great opportunity to blend his love of business in general with his love of wine.

"The best wines are often the result of taking risks and pushing boundaries - a lesson that applies equally well to business."

  • LEEANNE ARNOLD

GENERAL MANAGER & DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION

LeeAnne grew up in Orlando, Florida (Disney kid forever!) Her parents worked in hospitality so it was always a part of her life. She was a teacher for several years, then took her master’s degree in education from teaching to working in restaurants where the pay was higher and stress much lower.

LeeAnne brings her years of fine wine experience in restaurants together with her love of teaching to leads our education programming and outreach - for staff and customers. Currently a certified sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, she is working to pass the Advanced sommelier exam.

“Selling wine to someone is getting to know who they are in a very short period of time. You get to learn what is important to them, how they celebrate, are they adventurous? There is this amazing moment where everything clicks and you get them excited about something they maybe have never tried from halfway around the world and you get to share a farmer’s story. I love being the hype person for a bottle of wine. If only I had that much enthusiasm for folding my laundry.”

  • Heidi Ellis

    ASSISTANT MANAGER

Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Heidi floated up and down the west coast before landing in Nashville. While living in Los Angeles, she would visit her sister in in Santa Ynes to sit in the sun wine tasting and catch up with each other.  This was where she discovered the magic of wine and how a bottle can bring people together.

Currently studying for her WSET Level 3, Heidi really loves to spend time with each new wine, savoring it and really getting to know its complexity. At the moment she is loving a big glass of Cab Franc paired with potato chips and fluffy socks.

“I love having people try a wine that is new to them; whether it is the grape, from a country that they have never had before or an unique style of winemaking. I am constantly being surprised and excited by the diversity of wine and I want everyone to be able to experience that.”

  • Sarah Fairbank

    CONTENT & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Originally from California, Sarah has been in Nashville for over 30 years. Working at Harvest is a fourth (or maybe fifth) career for her; she most recently worked at Vanderbilt’s business school. She brings systems and marketing expertise to the shop, and is really enjoying using those skills to help Harvest grow and reach new customers.

A wine enthusiast who loves to cook, she is currently studying for her WSET Level 2 certification and eagerly absorbing knowledge from the rest of the team to supplement her formal wine education.

  • Bruce Stanley

Bruce grew up in the Nashville area and has been in the hospitality industry most of his professional life. He gained his initial wine knowledge organically as part of his service training, working with some of the city’s culinary heavyweights like Randy Rayburn, Craig Clift and of course Seema Prasad.

Currently intrigued by the wines of Italy, Bruce is concurrently diving deep into the hundreds of Italian wine varietals and working on his WSET Level 2 certification.

“Wine is like film to me in that it’s a collaborative art form that is accessible to everyone in its many forms-there’s a wine for everyone to love just as there’s a movie for everyone to love, whether your taste is simple & straightforward or complex & nuanced, and every culture of the world produces their own unique versions of both. I enjoy trying to think outside the box on food & wine pairings and figure out wines that complement the amazing variety of cuisines we have available now in Nashville.”
